Tonsley Investments was set up in anticipation of the correction in commercial property values which would inevitably follow the banking crisis. We specialise in identifying and securing attractive investment opportunities and undertaking asset management work. Since inception the business has grown significantly and now manages circa £25m of commercial real estate.
When purchasing we either acquire outright or co-invest alongside external partners. In the process we will secure debt finance, put in place tax efficient ownership structures, prepare and implement a pre-agreed business plan and manage the asset. If co-investing we provide our partners with quarterly updates giving complete transparency. We have a proven track record identifying suitable opportunities and generating attractive returns. Tonsley's investment philosophy is based on value investment. We aim to acquire properties based on the value of the bricks and mortar, avoiding paying premiums for leases. This is a defensive approach that offers a high income return, substantial upside through asset management and, hopefully, cyclical upside.
